Kota Srinivasa Rao's son Prasad dies in road accident

A sad news was in the store for Kota Srinivasa Rao on a father's day. Versatile actor Kota Srinivasa Rao's son Kota Vinaya Anjaneya Prasad,39, have been killed in a road accident at the outskirts of Hyderabad. The accident happened around 2.15 pm on Sunday near Mehidipatnam. Prasad was going to airport on his sports bike, while his family members were following him in a car. They were supposed to attend a party in Novotel hotel at RGI airport.

Incident occurred, when the actor crossed Andhra Pradesh Police Academy(APPA) near a dargah. The actor rammed into DCM van as a result he was severely injured on his head. His wife along with the family, who where following him rushed him to a nearby hospital. Later, he was shifted to a private hospital in Tolichowki, where he was pronounced dead.

His body was taken to Osmania Hospital for post mortem. After post mortem his body was handed over to the family. He was survived by wife and two children. Police have seized the van and have filed a case against the driver of the van under the section 304-A of IPC.
