Popular choreographer, director and artiste Raghava Lawrence is playing the hero in a massive Rs 20 crore budget film Super Cowboy directed by Simbudevan and produced by Kalpati S Agoram, Kalpati S Ramesh and Kalpati S Ganesh on the banner of SGS Entertainments Pvt Ltd. Speaking on the occasion, Lawrence says, “SGS firm is making the film in a lavish manner. Director Simbudevan is moulding the film and my character in an attractive manner and it would definitely impress all classes of audiences. Besides action, the film will have good entertainment. The film is being shot in rare locations."
Director Simbudevan says, “We chose 18th century subject and bringing out the film as a comedy adventure. We are showing Red Indians in a never before manner. We prepared a fantastic set with the help of 300 workers in Kerala on Hollywood style. It is the biggest set in the entire film industry"s history in India. We also shot the film in Thenkasi, Thada, Madhya Pradesh, Rayachoti, Sathunur, Bengaluru, Pune, Nagpur, Palghat, Amba Samudram and Pondicherry. Ours is the first unit to shoot in Kandi Canal in Kandikota of Vijayanagar dynasty. We took several risky shots in this 30-foot depth canal. We gave training to all the artistes in horse riding." Producer Kalpati S Agoram says,“We are making efforts to release the film in March."
Padmapriya and Lakshmi Rai are playing the female leads. Saikumar, Sandhya, Nazar, Manorama, Senthil, Mouli, Delhi Ganesh, Ramesh Khanna and others are in the cast. Dialogues are by Sriramakrishna, lyrics are by Vanamali, music is by GV Prakash, while Kalpati S Agoram is the presenter. Story, screenplay and direction are by Simbudevan.
