Nagarjuna prefers filmmakers over script

By Sampurn Wire

Superstar Nagarjuna has been in the industry for more than two decades and has acted over 70 films in different languages starting from Telugu, Tamil and Hindi. He has tried his hand in all genres of film and is now gearing up for his next release Ragada.

The actor has his own rules and regulations, when it comes to sign a new film, says Nagarjuna. Unlike many other stars, who say that they prefer good script, he says that he considers the potential of the producer and the director, who are making the films. According to him, the script would be alright if the producer and the director are sensible enough.

He thinks if the director is not competent enough then he or she cannot do justice to a good script. Similarly, a fine producer can only give proper platform to a good script. He thinks a director is not required to have a successful tag to sign him but should have the understanding of the dynamics of the filmmaking.

Nagarjuna can still give tough competition to many new age heroes, when it comes to physique and looks. He is still venturing into new things and wants to work with new directors as he feels they come with fresh ideas.
