Namitha rejects 14 films in one year

Actress Namitha, who has stayed away from the camera for a long time, has reportedly rejected 14 films in one year. It is said that the reason behind this is all the 14 scripts were not up to her expectations. After the release of films like Hoo and Simha, the actress has not released a single film since last year.

The actress has cut off all her contacts, with the people of Telugu film industry and the media as well. She has reportedly secluded herself to a close circle of friends and does not want to share her personal life with anyone. A few days back she was seen at the Chennai Airport, where she explained the reasons for her absence from Tollywood.

Speaking on her long hiatus from Telugu film world, Namitha said that she was busy reading scripts and none of them has captured her fancy yet. The actress clarified that she will take up movie project only if it requires a high amount of acting and when it is not about the "skin-show".

Meanwhile, it has been reported that the glamorous actress has rejected over 14 scripts in the course of a year as none of them met her expectations. The actress feels that her last batch of films highlighted her glamorous quotient and failed to tap into her acting prowess. Right now Namitha is looking for performance-oriented roles. So she will keep her distance from Tollywood until a good script comes her way.
