Aawara,
the
Telugu
version
of
Tamil
superhit
film
Paiya,
is
all
set
to
hit
the
screens
on
May
7.
The
movie
has
broken
the
records
of
block
busters
like
Sivaji,
Vettaikaran
and
Dasavatharam
in
terms
of
collection
in
Kollywood.
The
movie
stars
Karthi
(brother
of
actor
Surya)
and
Tamanna
in
lead
roles.
Bollywood
actor
Milind
Soman
has
played
the
villain
role.
The
movie
is
directed
by
Lingusamy,
who
has
given
hit
films
like
Run
and
Anandam,
which
belonged
to
different
genres.
The
director
says,
"My
earlier
film
Pandem
Kodi
was
a
big
hit
in
Telugu.
I
am
confident
Aawara
would
be
a
bigger
hit
than
my
earlier
films."
Speaking
about
the
film,
Karthi
says,
"We
have
ensured
dubbing
in
a
perfect
manner
and
on
the
lines
of
a
straight
film.
Linguswamy"s
direction
and
Yuvan
Shankar
Raja"s
music
would
be
assets
for
the
movie."
Producer
Gnanavel
Raja
says,
"There
is
a
very
good
response
for
the
audio,
which
indicates
that
the
film
would
also
be
a
success.
Karthi
has
already
become
famous
with
his
recent
film
Yuganiki
Okkadu
and
I
am
sure
that
he
would
earn
more
name
after
Aawara
release."
