Prasthanam all set to release on Apr 16

Sharwanand, Ruby Parihar, Saikumar and Sandeep Kishan are playing the lead roles in Prasthanam directed by Deva Katta and produced by Ravi Vallabhaneni. The film is all set to release on April 6.

Sharwanand says, "We have worked hard for two years and has prepared the script. Though the film had completed its shooting, the release of the film was delayed due to some technical reasons. Though it was delayed, the film came out with excellent quality. Our producers are making efforts to release the film on April 16." Actor Sandeep says, "I made my debut as actor with Sneha Geetam and this is my second film."

Prasthanam is a poetic and intense character drama enacted by Sharwanand, Sai Kumar and Sundeep Kishan. The movie is set in Vijayawada with a contemporary political back drop. Though it has a bit of political colour, the movie is purely about human nature with an existential treatment and an explosive plot-line. The look and making of the movie is highly stylized with a broach structure that organically makes the movie a full-meal with a perfect blend of entertainment and soul.

Director Dev Katta says, "I directed Vennela earlier and this is my second film. We thought that the film should have high technical values and hence the delay in the release of the film. The title of the film suggests that the film will have social elements and has political subject in its backdrop. However, our film did not restrict to a particular subject and has all kinds of elements. The film revolves around three characters."
