Raavan being dubbed in Telugu as Villain

The most expected movie of the year, Mani Ratnam"s Raavan will be dubbed in Telugu. The movie has been titled Villain. It will release simultaneously in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu. The regional versions will see a slightly different cast.

The movie is inspired by the great Indian epic Ramayana, which is a story of Rama, whose wife Sita is abducted by the Raavana. It is said that the director has given a new twist to the tale.

Raavan is produced and directed by Mani Ratnam. Santosh Sivan is the cinematographer and Oscar award winner AR Rahman has composed the music. The movie is all set to hit the screens on 18 June 2010.
