'Ranga The Donga' completes first schedule

The first schedule of Ranga The Donga directed by GV and produced by Sudhakar Naidu and CR Manohar on the joint banner of Golden Lion Films and God Father, with Srikanth as hero was completed recently.

Speaking on the occasion, GV says, "I am very happy at producing this movie in association with CR Manohar. Donga is a box office success formula point. Several top heroes played the role of thieves and grabbed the success. However, the role of a thief played by Srikant is something different and novel.Vimala Raman is playing a cops role which is entertaining. Chakri has scored excellent music."

Manohar says, "The first schedule was completed by March 17. The first schedule was done for 18 days in which over 150 junior artistes were involved in the film. We shot a song, a fight, the interval episode besides 20 scenes. This would be the biggest film in Srikant"s career. The film would be rich as far as story and production values. Working with GV is very entertaining."

Ramakrishna, Bhuvaneswari, Taslima, Jayaprakash Reddy, Telangana Sakuntala, Sivaji Raja, Tirupati Prakash, Gauthamraju, Chitram Sreenu, Nagaraju, Dr Mohan and others are in the cast. Camera is by Purja Kantru, editing is by Gauthamraju, art is by A Bangarraju, stunts are by Ganesh, while MA Azeem is the executive producer.
