Swathi happy being youth icon

South Indian actress Swathi Reddy is very happy these days. The reason for her happiness is that the young bubbly girl is being referred as the youth icon of South India. Swathi says that she is grateful to the audience for showering so much of love upon her.

It is indeed strange that Swathi has made it big in South without a godfather.But the actress does not mind the fact that she is not blessed with a godfather. On the contrary, Swathi feels relieved that she has nobody except the audience to satisfy and that there are less expectations from her as an actress.

It is to be recalled that Swathi shot to prominence with her television talk show 'Colours" on Telugu television channel Maa TV. Her noted films are Ashta Chamma and Subramaniapuram (Tamil). The promising actress is currently filming Katha Screenplay Darsakatvam Appalaraju, which is directed by renowned director Ram Gopal Varma.
