Anushka's size cost her Lawrence film!

Anushka Shetty's decision to opt out of Raghava Lawrence's Rebel has an interesting story of tiff between the director and the actress. Well, the Kanchana director's jibe on her size is said to be the reason behind her walk out of the upcoming Telugu film.

If reports are to be believed, Raghava Lawrence was not keen to cast her in Rebel. It is because the director was not happy with her after she rejected his offer to star in Kanchana. The actress had reportedly told him that the script was not inspiring her to sign the project. Hurt by her decision, Lawrence, who was also keen to rope in for Prabhas starrer Rebel, decided not to sign her.

However, Prabhas wanted Anushka Shetty to star opposite him and brought her on board to act in Rebel. When she returned, Raghav Lawrence, who was waiting to hit back at her, started commenting on her size, as the Nanna actress put on some kilos due to unexpected holiday during Tollywood strike in February. This made her to walk out of the film.

Meanwhile, Anushka Shetty has reportedly been replaced by Tamanna Bhatia.
