Badrinath distribution rights gets 6 cr in Karnataka

The most awaited film, Badrinath, which was supposed to release on June 3, 2011 and got postponed by a week will be finally releasing on June 10, 2011. Reportedly, the film starring actor Allu Arjun and Tamanna, has sold out its distribution rights for a big sum of money.

The film has set a new record in Karnataka as the distribution rights have been bought for a whopping amount of 6 crores. No other Telugu film has grossed such high distribution rights in Karnataka. Badrinath is releasing in three languages - Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam and is one of the expensive films of the year.

The film has been directed by VV Vinayak and is produced by Allu Aravind under Geetha Arts banner. MM Keeravani has composed the music for Badrinath, while Chinni Krishna has penned the script. It is an action packed entertainer with a temple backdrop.
