Geetha Arts sorts out Badrinath issue in Karnataka

By Ramchander

Geetha Arts, which had troubles over Badrinath release in Karnataka, has resolved the issues with the distributor of the film, thus paving way for the movie release in the Kannada speaking state.

A few days ago Ramu, who had acquired Badrinath's theatrical rights of Karnataka, approached the court after Geetha Arts decided to release the movie on its own. It is said that the makers of the film demanded more money considering the hype surrounding the film, but the Sandalwood producer refused to pay the revised amount. As a result, the production house geared up to release on its own, claims a report.

Irked by the development, Ramu approached the court with valid documents and brought the stay order for the movie release, which made Geetha Arts to settle down the issues with the distributor.

Badrinath directed by VV Vinayak features Allu Arjun and Tamanna Bhatia in the leads. The movie is simultaneously releasing in Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam.
