Chiranjeevi slams attack on Dookudu unit

Actor-turned-politician Chiranjeevi has slammed the attack on Dookudu unit by TRS activists. He blamed the state government for the incident, as it failed to give proper protection for the film unit.

The megastar criticized Kiran Kumar Reddy led government for not taking action against the Telangana activists, who are trying to disturb the peaceful atmosphere and harmony of the state. He also urged the Govt. to raise the security at the shooting locations.

It may be recalled that Chiranjeevi had accused some of the TRS activists and students of Osamania University were trying to misuse the Telangana movement. He had claimed that they demand money and blackmail filmmakers for the shooting in the trouble-hit region.

On Sunday, Mahesh Babu's Dookudu crew went through a chaos moment after it was attacked with vengeance by Telangana activists. A group of seven activists from Telangana Students JAC rained stones at the unit vehicles and damaged some vehicles.
