Jagapathi Babu teams up with Vikram in Thaandavam

Jagapathi Babu is all set to team up with Vikram in his forthcoming bilingual movie Thaandavam. The Telugu actor will be seen in the role of a baddie in the movie directed by AL Vijay of Nanna (Deiva Thirumagal in Tamil) fame.

Apart from Jagapathi Babu and Vikram, Anushka Shetty and Amy Jackson are also playing the key roles in Thaandavam. The photo shoots on the lead characters are expected to be held tomorrow in Chennai and the movie will start its regular shooting in January 2012.

The movie brings the successful combination of Nanna - Vikram, Anushka, director AL Vijay and GV Prakash Kumar together. Produced by UTV Motion Pictures, Thaandavam will be shot in Delhi, US and Chennai.

Thaandavam is said to be loosely inspired by Hollywood flick The Bourne Identity. Vikram's character named Shiva will be doing the role of a retrograde amnesia patient, which was played by Matt Damon in the original. While Anushka performs the character of Vikram's wife, Amy Jackson plays the role of his girlfriend.
