Johnny Gaddar to be remade in Telugu

Sriram Raghavan's hit Bollywood movie Johnny Gaddar will be remade in the Telugu. According to reports, producer Deepak Baladev has acquired the remake rights and he has started the pre-production works.

Reports suggest that Lakshmikanth Chenna of Hyderabad Nawabs fame is helming the project. The director along with Deepak Baladev have signed Krishi Arimanda and Sai Kumar to enact the roles played by Neil Nitin Mukesh and Dharmendra respectively.

While Gracy Singh plays the role of Sai Kumar's wife, Lekha Washington and Ruby Parihar are doing the other female lead roles. The remake of Johnny Gaddar is being made on the banner Kubera Cinemas.

Johnny Gaddar was a crime thriller that tells the story of a group of five men, who are into gambling and other illegal business. The film has been dedicated to thriller master James Hadley Chase and the film does end up paying homage to its inspiration.
