Newly wed Junior NTR-Pranathi offer prayers in Tirumala

Newly wed couple Junior NTR and Lakshmi Pranathi visited Tirupathi on Saturday to offer prayers to Lord Balaji. The couple, who were accompanied by family members and friends, prayed for a happy married life at the hill shrine.

Junior NTR and Lakshmi Pranathi took a chartered aircraft from Hyderabad to Renigunta Airport, Tirupathi and reached the hills by road. The couple along with the actor's mother Shalini, MLA Kodali Nani and other relatives sought blessings of the presiding deity.

Sources say that it has become a practice for the Nandamuri family members to visit the holy shrine immediately after the marriage to seek the blessings of Lord Venkateshwara.

Junior NTR and Lakshmi Pranathi tied the knot on May 6 at the Hyderabad International Convention Centre (HICC). It was attended by close to 15,000 guests.
