Mahesh
Babu's
wife
Namrata
Shirodkar
has
lodged
a
complaint
against
a
hardware
shop
owner
at
the
Jubilee
Hills
police
station
on
Tuesday.
She
has
claimed
that
he
has
cheated
her
Rs.
4.63
lakhs.
In
her
complaint,
Namrata
Shirodkar
said
that
Classic
Hardware
owner
Farhad
Bin
Ali
approached
her
during
the
construction
of
her
new
house
in
Jubilee
Hills
to
provide
service
in
grill
and
glass
related
works.
He
took
Rs.
8.5
lakh
as
an
advance
assuring
that
he
will
complete
it
on
time.
But,
he
delayed
the
works
and
showed
carelessness.
After
her
repeated
requests,
he
started
the
work
but
it
was
not
satisfactory
and
half
of
the
job
was
poorly
done
for
which
she
asked
him
to
stop
the
work.
Then,
Namrata
told
him
to
deduct
the
amount
from
the
advance
for
the
finished
job
and
return
the
rest
of
the
amount.
However,
Farhad
calculated
the
value
of
work
completed
and
gave
her
the
bill
of
Rs.
3.65
lakh.
He
promised
her
to
payback
Rs.
4.63
lakh.
Later,
“He
gave
a
cheque
drawn
on
Barclays
Bank,
Banajra
Hills
branch
for
the
amount.
It
bounced.
When
I
brought
this
to
his
notice
he
issued
another
cheque
of
the
same
bank
to
the
tune
of
Rs
2.25
lakh
and
it
too
was
returned.
He
then
issued
another
cheque
on
Axis
Bank
of
Charminar
for
Rs
2.6
lakh
and
the
same
also
bounced," the
actress
claimed
in
her
complaint.
