Meera Chopra dragged into murder case

Actress Meera Chopra, who is busy filming Nitin's Maaro, has been dragged into a murder case. The Gurgaon cops have started searching for her in connection with the murder of a woman, who is the wife of the actress' alleged boyfriend.

Last Tuesday (July 5), Ruchi Bhuttan was found hanging from a ceiling in her house. Initially, it was rumoured that it was a suicide but based on the complaint filed by deceased against her husband Sumit Bhuttan, the cops arrested and booked case against him under section 304B (dowry death) and 120B (criminal conspiracy) of the IPC on Wednesday.

The victim's sister alleges that Sumit Bhuttan killed Ruchi and hanged her on the ceiling. She adds that the accuse has an extra-martial affair with Meera Chopra. This statement of her has put her in trouble. Further investigation are on and the actress is yet to make her statement.
