Ram Charan Teja's Merupu in troubled waters

Ram Charan Teja's Merupu, which was launched on May 3, 2010, is in troubled waters. The film is in chaotic state as actress Kajal Aggarwal has walked out of the project citing date issues. Now, the makers of the film are finding it difficult to find a replacement for her.

The movie was in troubled waters from the day one after Ram Charan told director Dharani to rework on the script as it lacked grip in the screenplay. The actor, who was impressed by the storyline, reportedly suggested the director to rewrite some scenes. This delayed the film shooting, which made Kajal to opt out of the project.

Now, the director has completed the scripting work and is in search of a female lead for the film. But saddest part of the story is that actresses Ileana D'Cruz and Samantha, who was approached by Dharani to pair Ram in the film, have reportedly refused to sign the movie as they are busy in other projects.
