has
been
hit
by
censor
trouble.
The
movie
made
on
a
controversial
issue
is
giving
tough
times
for
the
makers
of
the
forthcoming
Telugu
film.
According
to
sources,
the
officials
of
the
Regional
Censor
Board
has
suggested
as
many
as
20
cuts,
which
has
disappointed
the
movie
bosses.
It
is
said
that
the
sensitive
issues
and
the
scenes,
which
could
face
public
wrath,
have
been
advised
to
chop
from
Bejawada.
However,
the
movie
has
now
landed
before
the
revision
committee
for
further
review.
Ram
Gopal
Varma's
Bejawada,
which
was
earlier
titled
Bejawada
Rowdilu,
is
allegedly
made
on
the
real
life
incidents
that
occurred
in
Vijayawada,
which
was
formerly
known
as
Bejawada.
It
is
the
tale
of
the
rivalry
of
ex-politicians
named
Devineni
Nehru
and
late
legislator
Vangaveeti
Ranga
of
the
coastal
city.
Bejawada
is
directed
by
Vivek
Krishna
and
it
stars
Naga
Chaitanya
and
Amala
Paul
in
the
lead
roles.
