Nagarjuna plays an influential character in Rajanna

Nagarjuna will be seen in the most influential character of his life in his upcoming movie Rajanna. The actor has donned the role of freedom fighter, which is created by poet Suddala Hanmanthu.

The story tells the tale of a struggle against zamindars and the Nizam rule set in the pre-independence era. It is about revolutionary poet Rajanna, who awakens the people to fight against the injustice done by the oppressive rulers. Director S Vijayendra Prasad has penned the story, which is fictional as well as partially inspired by the real life incidents.

The movie features Nagarjuna, Sneha and baby Eney in the key roles. Directed by SS Rajamouli's father S Vijayaendra Prasad, the Rajanna is produced by the Shiva star himself.
