Nani steps into the shoes of Ram in Gautham Menon's film

By Ramchander

Nani has bagged yet another big movie to his kitty. The actor, who is working with SS Rajamouli's Eega, has been roped in for Gautham Menon's forthcoming film Nithya.

Sources say that Gautham Menon, who was thinking to cast Jeeva for the Telugu version after Ram walked out of the project, has changed his mind and has decided to replace the Kandireega actor with Nani. It is noted that the Ashta Chemma had worked in the filmmaker's production in Sega, which was a dubbed version of Tamil film Veppam.

As the director had seen Nani's work in Sega, he decided to cast him, says a source. The movie is simultaneously being shot in Tamil, which is titled as Neethaane En Ponvasantham, and in Hindi with Aditya Roy Kapoor in the lead. Actress Samantha is playing the female lead role in all three versions of the forthcoming multilingual film.
