Navneet Kaur marries Ravi Rana

Actress Navneet Kaur and politician Ravi Rana entered married bliss in mass marriage at Amravati in Vidarbha on Wednesday (02-02-11). Along with other 3,612 couples, they married at the presence of family, friends and many religious leaders.

The colourful ceremony saw coming together of various communities and thousands of people witnessed the mass-marriage. Maharashtra Chief minister Prithviraj Chavan, Narayan Rane, Ramkrishna Vikhe Patil, Actor Vivek Oberoi, religious leaders like Ramdev Baba, Maulana Mehmood Madani and others blessed the couples.

Vivek Oberoi, Ram Dev and many others gifted utensils for the financially backward couples. The multi-community marriage, organized by Navneet Kaur's hubby Ravi Rana will enter the Guinness and Limca Record Books as it is the biggest ever mass marriage performed in the history. The total expense of the event is said to have crossed over 7 crores.

Punjabi kudi Navneet started her film career in Kannada and later made her Telugu debut in Sreenu Vasanthi Lakshmi in 2004. Her noted films are Jagapati, Maharadhi, Yamadonga. On the other hand, The 29-year-old Ravi Rana is an independent MLA from Badnera constituency, Amravati district. He defeated NCP candidate Sulbha khodke in 2009 assembly elections. They met each other a few years ago at Ram Dev Baba's ashram and soon they fell in love for each other. Watch Her Marriage Video.
