Nayantara gets Ram Gopal Varma's offer

Nayantara, who received rave reviews for her performance in Sri Rama Rajyam, has reportedly been offered yet another film, which has also links with epic Ramayana. Well, maverick filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma has approached her to play a key role in his forthcoming untitled movie.

It is reported that Ram Gopal Varma has offered her the role of Mandodari, the wife of demon king Raavana. If Nayantara gives a nod, he will have to pair up her with Nagarjuna. However, industry insiders believe that the actress, who has rejected quite a few big banner films, might turn down the offer citing her marriage plans.

Ram Gopal Varma's forthcoming movie is inspired by the epic Ramayana. Talking about the movie, he had earlier said that the idea of making the film came to his mind after watching Sri Rama Rajyam. The filmmaker added that the movie would be made keeping the new-age sensibilities in mind.
