Puli Pawan Kalyan turns Gabbar Singh

Powerstar Pawan Kalyan is gearing up to don the role of super cop again! Yes, the actor, who was last seen as police officer in Puli, is all set to portray the same role in his next film tilted Gabbar Singh.

Kalyan's Puli, which failed at the box-office, received rave reviews for the his excellent performance in the film. Though critics gave thumbs down for the film, they praised that the role was tailor made for the actor.

Gabbar Singh is directed by Harish Shankar and it is a remake of Salman Khan starrer Bollywood blockbuster Dabangg. The original version was directed by debutant Abhinav Kashyap, where Salman Khan played the role of a cop named Chulbul Pandey. His looks and histrionics was the prime attraction of Dabangg. Like Bollywood version, Pawan will also be seen in different getups, claims a source. Other details about cast and crew are under wraps.
