Rajinikanth's Robo to hit small screens this Pongal

Rajinikanth and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan starrer Robo, a dubbed version of Tamil movie Endhiran, will be telecast on Gemini TV on January 15. The makers of the film has decided to air Telugu version of the film on the occasion of Pongal.

According to sources, the movie, which is completing 100 days this Sunday, has got good response from the Telugu audience as well. Gemini TV, which is owned by Sun Network, has decided to air the movie to increase the TRPs of the channel. It is also said that the movie would also generate good revenue through advertisements.

The original movie run-time is 165 minutes but it is extended over five hours on Television due to commercial breaks. However, Shankar's directorial movie has already grossed over 275 crores.
