Ram Charan Teja grilled on Emmar Villa

After actress Namrata Shirodkar, the CBI officials grilled Ram Charan Teja on Thursday (September 15) in connection with the Emaar case. The officials quizzed him for one hour at its office in Hyderabad.

Ram Charan Teja was questioned for buying villas in Emmar Boulder Hills township. It seek his explanation on how he purchased the plots in Emaar Properties and the mode of payment. It is alleged that all the owners of the property purchased the villas at shockingly lower price than its market rate.

The CBI served close to 90 VVIPS including politicians, businessmen, and film actors, who have purchased plots from Emaar Properties in Emaar Hill County Town Ship Pvt Limited (EHTPL). It is said that they bought the land for Rs 5000 per sq. yd, when the registration fees were itself Rs 12,000.
