Have recent troubles pertaining to Bejawada Rowdilu changed Ram Gopal Varma to seek a spiritual help? Yes says report. The filmmaker, who is a self-proclaimed atheist, has surprisingly performed a special pooja on the sets of the upcoming Telugu film.

Bejawada Rowdilu has been facing troubles ever since the movie hit the floors. Considering this, the filmmaker has installed goddess Durga's statue in Undavalli [Vijayawada] for a five-day-schedule yesterday, claims a report. The makers of the film also performed a shanti homam on the sets so that the movie gets finished without any hurdle.

Bejawada Rowdilu, which features Naga Chaitanya and Genelia D'Souza, is based on the conflicts between two politicians Devineni Nehru and late legislator Vangaveeti Ranga. Several social organizations had halted the shooting of the movie, when it was launched in June. There were also pressures on Ram Gopal Varma to change the title of the film.
