Why Ram walked out of Gautham Menon's film?

Ram has opened up on the reason behind his decision to opt out of Gautham Menon's romantic film Nithya. The Kandireega star has claimed that date issues made him to drop the forthcoming Telugu film.

The actor has denied the rumours, which claimed that Ram had issues with director Gautham Menon. Though, he was keen to work with the ace filmmaker, he could not allot the dates for the upcoming multilingual film, says the actor. Now, Jeeva of Rangam fame has replaced him in the Telugu version of the film.

Earlier, it was said that Ram was not happy on the sets after he was made to wait for his turn to shoot his portions. The delay after every shot irked him. As the movie is being shot simultaneously in three languages, every actor has to wait patiently for others to complete their scenes. This irritated the Telugu actor hence he decided to bid goodbye for the film.

However, Gautham Menon has reportedly told a leading daily that Ram was not in Nithya at the first place. The movie also features Samantha in the female lead role.
