Rana
Daggubati-Selvaraghavan's
proposed
project
has
reportedly
been
shelved
after
being
in
the
news
for
close
to
one
year.
They
have
decided
to
part
ways,
as
they
are
busy
with
their
own
projects.
Following
the
success
of
Yuganiki
Okkadu
and
its
Tamil
version
Aayirathil
Oruvan,
Selvaraghavan
approached
Rana
Daggubati
for
his
bilingual
film.
Though,
the
actor
approved
the
project,
he
reportedly
suggested
the
director
for
some
changes
in
the
script.
Later,
it
was
rumoured
that
they
are
working
on
a
entirely
different
film
and
roped
in
Richa
Gangopadhyay
to
play
the
leading
lady
in
the
film.
Now,
the
rumour
mills
say
that
Rana
Daggubati-Selvaraghavan
have
dropped
the
project
for
the
time
being
but
they
may
join
hands
in
the
future.
Currently,
Rana
is
eagerly
waiting
for
the
release
of
his
debut
Bollywood
movie
Dum
Maaro
Dum
and
Telugu
movie
Nenu
Naa
Rakshasi.
He
has
recently
signed
another
Telugu
movie
Naa
Ishtam
opposite
Genelia
D'Souza,
which
is
directed
by
newcomer
Prakash
Toleti.
Meanwhile,
Selvaraghavan
is
gearing
up
to
direct
his
biggest
project
till
date,
Vishwaroobham.
The
movie
is
expected
to
hit
the
floors
soon.
However,
the
director
has
vowed
to
complete
his
long-pending
project
Erandam
Ulagam
before
starting
Kamal
Hassan
and
Sonakshi
Sinha
starrer
film.
