Ravi Teja's career might be going great guns but the activities of some of his family members are putting him to shame. After his brothers Raghu Babu and Bharat, who were arrested earlier for alleged dealing with banned drugs, now his father Bhoopathi Raju is in the news for all the wrong reasons, as he has been arrested by the cops on gambling charges.
Reports say that 70-year-old Bhoopathi Raju was caught red handed while playing cards in a club. Along with him, the police have arrested 46 people, who have violated the AP Gaming Act. It is said that the cops had warned the club before not to entertain illegal games but it bypassed the law by encouraging banned activities.
The cops who raided the club in Ranigunj, Hyderabad on Monday evening, have seized around Rs 40,000 from the gamblers. It may be recalled that Ravi Teja's brothers were arrested by Banjara Hills' police while they were purchasing drugs from a Nigerian last August. Adding to that Raghu Babu was once held for driving under the influence (DUI).
