Santosh Sivan to direct Mahesh Babu

Cinematographer-turned-director Santosh Sivan seems to be keen to make his Telugu debut. The filmmaker, who has wielded megaphone Tamil, Hindi and Malayalam movies, will soon enter the Tollywood by directing Mahesh Babu starrer film.

The multifaceted personality claims that he wants to direct a Telugu film. There are possibilities of working with Mahesh Babu, as the actor's wife has told Sanotsh Sivan to make a film with Pokkiri star. However, the director has not revealed the further details about the film.

Santosh Sivan is currently busy with the English version of his multilingual film Urumi. Whereas, Mahesh Babu, who is gearing up for the release of Dookudu, has signed Puri Jagannath's The Businessman and Tamil director KV Anand's untitled project and Boyapati Seenu's next movie.

It is only after the completion of their respect projects, the proposed film will hit the floors.
