Shakti release delayed due to India-Pak match

India-Pakistan World Cup semi final match has made the makers of upcoming Telugu film Shakti to postpone its release. The movie, which was supposed to release on March 31, will now hit the screens on April 01.

Sources close to Shakti film unit has claimed that the movie bosses have decided to delay after India won the match against Australia yesterday. The movie was censored on Thursday and it has received 'A' certificate with no cuts.

However, Shakti features Junior NTR, Ileana D' Cruz, Manjari Phadnis in the lead roles. The movie is directed by Meher Ramesh and produced by C Ashwini Dutt on the banner Vyjayanthi Movies.
