Shruti Hassan playing Gabbar Singh's love interest!

Anaganaga Oka Dheerudu might have failed at the box-office but it got rave reviews for Shruti Hassan's performance in the film. As a result, she has been getting a lot of offers from the Telugu film industry. After signing Venu Sriram's Oh My Friend and Boyapati Seenu's untitled project, the multifaceted actress has reportedly signed Pawan Kalyan's Gabbar Singh.

The 25-year-old actress has recently been roped in to star in upcoming Telugu film Gabbar Singh, which is a remake of Salman Khan starrer Dabangg. After considering a few actresses, the makers of the film have zeroed in on Shruti Hassan, claims report. It was earlier reported that Kajal Aggarwal was approached to pair Pawan Kalyan in the film but the Magadheera star could not sign due to date issues.

Shruti Hassan will be playing the role of Pawan Kalyan's love interest in the film, which was played by Sonakshi Sinha in the film. Announcement regarding her inclusion will be made soon, reports added. The movie is directed by Harish Shankar and produced by Ganesh Babu.
