Singanamala Ramesh arrested in Chennai

Producer Singanamala Ramesh was arrested in Chennai on the charges of threatening to kill film financier Jayanth Reddy. He has been evading arrest for a few months and the Criminal Investigation Department sleuths held him earlier today at Chennai Airport.

In February, Jayanth Reddy lodged a complaint against Singanamala Ramesh and Bhanu, the alleged killer of Maddelacheruvu Suri, for blackmailing and threatening him. The producer threatened when he was asked to payback his Rs. 7.2 crore by the financier.

The controversial producer has been accused of cheating Shalimar Videos over Komaram Puli video rights and he is also wanted in Maddelacheruvu Suri's murder case. However, his noted films in the recent times are Mahesh Khaleja and Komaram Puli.
