Trisha to play Venkatesh's leading lady in Bodyguard

The Guessing game for the female lead actress of Telugu version of Bodyguard has finally come to an end. Yes, actress Trisha Krishnan has been roped in to act in Venkatesh starrer film.

Trisha Krishnan has confirmed that she has signed to play the female lead in Telugu version of Bodyguard. Trisha like Kareena Kapoor, will be watching both Malayalam Bodyguard and Tamil Kaavalan to know more about the character. She will be playing the role, which was played by Nayantara in original and Asin Thottumkal in Tamil version.

Earlier, it was reported that Nayantara and Priyamani are in the race for Bodyguard remake. It also added that Venkatesh preferred former to latter, as he their chemistry received good response from the audience and critics in their previous films.

However, Gopichand Malineni of Don Seenu fame is directing the film. The movie bosses are yet to finalize the title. The shooting of the film will start from second week of April.
