Upendra-Nagarjuna teaming up for Adi Shankaracharya

Kannada superstar Upendra and King Nagarjuna are teaming up for the first time. The actors are coming together for a forthcoming Telugu movie Adi Shankaracharya.

According to sources, Upendra, who gave a nod to act in the film a few months ago, is doing a cameo in the movie based on saint Adi Shankaracharya. The Telugu movie will see the Kannada actor in the role of Amaruka Maharaja.

Apart from Upendra, actress Anushka Shetty is also doing a guest role in Adi Shankaracharya. However, the movie marks the directorial debut of writer JK Bharavi, who had earlier written story, screenplay and dialogues for many superhits like Sri Ramadasu, Sri Manjunatha, Pandurangadu, Annamayya, etc.
