Veera invites the wrath of censor

By Ramchander

Ravi Teja's Veera, which hit the screens with U/A certificate last Friday, has landed in a trouble. It is because the copy, which was sent to the Regional Censor Board, is different from the one which is being screened in theatres.

It has come to the notice of the Censor Board that the makers of the film have released a different copy of the film. Andhra Pradesh Censor Board Chief Dhanalakshmi claims that Veera, which has hit the screens is different from the one the movie bosses sent for the censor. She has reportedly decided to take action against them for violating the rules.

On the other hand, director Ramesh Varma pointed his finger at the board that he was surprised when the authorities did not object some of the scenes in the film. He affirms that he has released the original copy and has followed their instructions.

The movie starring Ravi Teja, Kajal Aggarwak and Tapasee has not garnered good reviews from the critics nor has impressed the audience.
