59th South Filmfare Awards 2011 - Telugu winners list

The winners list for the 59th Idea South Filmfare Awards 2011 was announced at a grand event held in Chennai on Saturday. Mahesh Babu starrer blockbuster Telugu movie Dookudu, which was nominated in highest number of categories, has topped the winners list with six coveted awards, while Sri Rama Rajyam landed in second spot with three awards.

Dookudu has bagged six black ladies in the different categories like best film, director, actor, supporting actor, music director and playback singer (male). Sri Rama Rajyam has won awards like best actress, singer (female) and lyrics. Meanwhile, Rajanna has also won best supporting actress. Surprising only three movies have managed to enter the winners list of 59th Idea South Filmfare Awards this year.

However, the 59th Idea South Filmfare Awards 2011 was a star-studded event that brought together the top film personalities from Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada film industries. Actresses like Priyamani, Sanjana, Shruti Hassan and Nayantara took the glitz and glamour to another level with their rocking dance performances.
