Amitabh Bachchan meets, greets Ram Charan on Zanjeer sets

The shooting of Zanjeer remake has already started in Mumbai and the Telugu actor Ram Charan Teja is taking part in the filming with Priyanka Chopra. Amitabh Bachchan, who had played the hero in the original version, found time to visit the sets of the film. The Bollywood Megastar met and greeted Teja. He had all praise for him.

Talking to the media, Amitabh Bachchan confirmed that he has met and interacted with him on shooting locations of the movie Zanjeer. He said that he is the son of his close friend and superstar Chiranjeevi. He is a successful star and like his father he has created a place for himself in Tollywood.

Meanwhile, Amitabh Bachchan also recalled his angry young man image that he has got for playing the hero Vijay in the original movie Zanjeer in 1974. He said that he is very happy and he thanked Ram for remaking the classic hit again in Telugu and Hindi. He also wished him good luck for it.

"It is a compliment to the film, that it is being remade after all these years. How many films carry the benefit of a remake? It is what needs to be appreciated also," the TOI quotes Amitabh as saying.
