Balakrishna’s Srimannarayana gets 'A' certificate from Censors

Hyderabad: Nandamuri Balakrishna's upcoming film Srimannarayana, which had a platinum disc function on August 26, has now completed the formalities of the Regional Censor Board and received and 'A' certificate. The makers of this action entertainer movie have planned to release it in theatres across the globe on August 30.

According to reports, the officials of the Censor Board have watched the movie Srimannarayana at a special screening held at Hyderabad in the third week of August. Besides suggesting them a few cuts, they have given an A certificate to the much-hyped film, which has several violent action sequences.

Srimannarayana is one of the most-anticipated movies in Telugu in 2012. Balakrishna is playing a journalist in the film. Addressing the platinum disc function, the actor said, "For the first time. I am playing a journo, who works for the betterment of social life. My role has a Narada in it. I am very excited about it and I hope all the film goers will also like it and enjoy the movie."

Srimannarayana has been directed by Ravikumar Chavali and produced by Ramesh Puppala under Yellow Flowers banner. Parvathi Melton and Isha Chawla are playing the female leads in the film, which has Chakri's music. T Surendar Reddy cranks the camera, Poloor Ghatikachalam has penned the dialogues and Gautham Raju is the editor.
