Bipasha Basu, Trisha approached for 'Munni' Telugu version?

After Ileana D'Cruz and many other actresses turned down the offer to do an item song in forthcoming Telugu movie Gabbar Singh, the makers of film have now approached Bipasha Basu and Trisha Krishnan. However, they are yet to receive a nod from either of the actresses.

Grapevine has it that the movie bosses, without getting disheartened, are putting their best efforts to bring in a top actress for the item number in Gabbar Singh, a remake of Bollywood blockbuster Dabangg. Recently, they offered the same to Bipasha Basu and Trisha Krishnan. But the actresses are still considering and yet to respond, claims a report.

Meanwhile, director Harish Shankar has claimed that they are looking out at various options and it is too early to talk about the item number because they are planning to shoot it in April.

Gabbar Singh also features Abhimanyu Singh, Ajay, Suhasini Maniratnam, Brahmanandam and others in the cast. The movie is directed by Harish Shankar.
