Mahesh Babu's Businessman makes record collection on first day

Critics and a section of audience may have given thumbs down to Mahesh Babu starrer The Businessman but it has not made much-difference, as the Telugu movie has made record-breaking collections on the first day.

The figures circulating on internet says that the movie has collected more than Rs 12 crores on the opening day. The movie has reportedly collected Rs 3 crore in the International Box Office and the remaining from the domestic market.

Despite getting mixed reviews, Businessman ran into packed houses in Andhra Pradesh. It was also the same case in neighbouring state Karnataka and abroad. It is said that Mahesh Babu fans have been impressed by the movie and they are spreading a strong word-of-mouth about the film.

Businessman is produced by R Venkat and directed by Puri Jagannath. It also features Kajal Aggarwal, Prakash Raj, Sayaji Shinde and others in the cast.
