Puri

movie
has
collected
approximately
Rs
27.25
crores
at
the
worldwide
Box
Office
in
two
days.
It
has
broken
the
first
and
second
collection
record
of
the
Power
star's
previous
film
Gabbar
Singh.

hit
more
than
1,600
screens
across
the
world
on
Thursday,
October
18.
Pawan
mania
was
at
its
peak
and
Dussehra
holidays
coupled
with
its
hype.
The
much-awaited
movie
opened
to
an
overwhelming
response
with
its
occupancy
ranging
between
95%
to
100%
in
both
single
screens
and
multiplexes
across
the
globe
on
its
opening
day.
It
has
collected
approximately
Rs
14.37
crores
on
the
first
day.
The
Pawan
Kalyan
and
Tamanna
starrer
received
rave
reviews
from
film
critics
and
viewers,
but
the
makers
had
to
face
the
wrath
of
activists
of
Telangana,
TDP
and
YSRC
due
to
some
controversial
dialogues,
scenes
and
characters
in
the
film.
These
activists
protested
against
Puri
and
Pawan
by
halting
its
screening
in
several
areas
and
it
resulted
in
dip
in
its
business.
