While
different
Brahmin
communities
have
been
opposing
the
screening
of
movie
Dhenikaina
Ready
in
Andhra
Pradesh,
a
group
of
Brahmins
from
Chennai
has
come
to
the
support
producer
Mohan
Babu.
The
senior
priests'
team
say
that
there
is
nothing
in
the
film
that
hurts
the
sentiments
of
the
community.
They
condemn
the
people,
who
performed
Pinda
Pradanam
rites
on
the
name
of
the
producer.
Prominent
Brahmins
from
Chennai
attended
a
press
meet
organised
by
Dr
Mohan
Babu
at
his
residence
today.
Addressing
the
media,
a
senior
priest
said
that
Dhenikaina
Ready
is
a
good
entertainer
and
it
nowhere
insults
or
hurts
the
sentiments
of
the
people
from
the
Brahmin
community.
It
is
unfair
that
some
people
from
the
community,
who
are
against
the
producer,
have
tried
to
mislead
other
Brahmins.
This
kind
of
incidents
will
really
spoil
the
image
of
the
community.
Talking
about
Brahmins'
protest
in
front
of
his
house,
Mohan
Babu
had
earlier
described
them
as
beggars
and
not
real
Brahmins.
Irked
by
his
comments,
Brahmins
had
performed
Pinda
Pradanam
rites
in
his
name.
They
had
also
collected
donations
and
sent
those
cheques
to
Mohan
Babu.
Talking
about
this
incident,
another
senior
priest
condemned
their
act.

meet
He
said
that
Mohan
Babu
is
a
very
respectful
person,
who
has
high
regards
for
Brahmin
community.
There
are
several
instances
of
the
actor
treating
Brahmins
with
great
respect
in
the
past.
He
added,
"Conducting
Pinda
Pradanam
rites
on
his
name
is
not
an
ethical
act.
We
condemn
it
and
defend
the
producer
against
this
false
propaganda."
