Known
for
taking
potshots.
Dasari
Narayana
Rao
has
taken
a
dig
at
the
industry
men
again.
The
senior
filmmaker
has
expressed
his
displeasure
over
the
careless
attitude
of
Kollywood,
which
has
not
shown
interest
to
honour
the
National
Award
winning
technician,
editor
KL
Praveen.
Speaking
at
a
function
organised
to
felicitate
KL
Praveen,
he
said
that
he
was
happy
that
a
Telugu
talent
won
an
award
for
a
Tamil
movie.
But
the
disappointing
factor
is
that
the
people,
who
felicitate
the
same
old
winners
of
Padma
Bhushans
and
Padma
Vibhushans
every
time,
has
not
even
bothered
to
honour
this
young
technician.
Urging
the
trade
bodies,
Dasari
asked
the
industry
men
to
felicitate
KL
Praveen,
who
has
won
the
National
Award
for
the
Tamil
movie,
Aranya
Kandam.
Taking
further
on
them,
he
concluded
that
our
filmmakers
are
busy
making
senseless
commercial
potboilers,
which
is
the
reason
why
Telugu
film
industry
is
not
getting
National
Awards.
