Director-cum actor Raghava Lawrence is all set to comeback after his unsuccessful attempt with Rebel. This time he will be both hero and director of his upcoming film Muni 3, which is produced by Bellamkonda Suresh. The muhurtham event of the film was held at the Ramanaidu Studios in Hyderabad on December 19.

The opening pooja ceremony was a grand event, which was attended by several big celebrities from Telugu film industry. Producer Dasari Narayana Rao sounded the clapboard, while Santosh Srinivas switched on the camera for the the first shot of Muni 3, which was directed by Nandini Reddy.

Muni 3, which is produced under banner of Sri Saiganesh Productions Pvt Ltd, is a horror movie with a dose of comedy. It is the next installment in his Muni series. The sequel to Muni was titled Kanchana, whereas reports suggest that the third movie is likely to be titled. Actress Tapsee is playing the female lead alongside Raghava Lawrence in the film.
