Eega 2 is not in the pipeline: SS Rajamouli

Director SS Rajamouli, who is basking in the huge success of his latest movie Eega, has revealed that a sequel to his graphical wonder is not in the pipeline. The Tollywood helmer admits that he wants to do Eega 2, since he is concentrating on his next project with Prabhas, he would consider it later.

Talking to a movie portal, SS Rajamouli said that if he decides to make Eega 2, viewers' expectations will be sky high. He should get a right story for the sequel, which would live up to the original film. Meanwhile, the director added that he has a project with Prabhas lined up and he wants to concentrate on it first.

SS Rajamouli and Prabhas' combo film will be based on the Kakateeya dynasty. Talking about the project, the director says that he is yet to finalise a story for it. What he wants to assure about the movie is that it will be based on the Kings. Rajamouli adds that there are so many captivating stories about Kings and he already has a couple of different lines in his mind. He would like to showcase one of them in a new way.

However, SS Rajamouli has worked restlessly on Eega for more than two years. Now, he wants to take a break for a couple of months to spend some time with his family. Then he would plan a fresh comeback with his new project with Prabhas. He also has few other projects lined up with Shobhu Yarlagadda, KL Narayana and VV Danayya. After completing Prabhas' movie, he would think about the story and star cast of those movies.
