news
ever
since
director
SS
Rajamouli
announced
it.
This
live
action
graphical
film,
which
stars
actors
like
Sudeep,
Naani
and
Samantha
in
the
lead
roles,
is
one
of
the
most
awaited
South
Indian
films
of
2012.
The
movie
is
an
experimental
film
with
mainstream
emotions
and
financial
viability.
It
revolves
around
the
hero,
who
is
killed
by
the
villain
and
he
is
reborn
as
Eega,
which
happens
to
remember
what
happened
in
its
last
birth.
The
rest
of
the
story
is
about
its
indomitable
effort
to
irritate
villain
and
take
revenge
on
him.
Eega
means
a
housefly,
which
itself
is
the
hero
in
the
movie.
Ashta
Chemma
fame
Nani
is
the
protagonist,
Kannada
actor
Sudeep
plays
the
antagonist.
Samantha
is
playing
the
female
lead
in
it.
KK
Senthil
Kumar
has
handled
cinematography
and
Kotagiri
Venkateswara
Rao
has
edited
the
film.
Eega
has
five
beautiful
songs,
which
have
been
composed
by
MM
Keeravani.
Ramajogayya
Sastry,
Anantha
Sreeram,
Chaitanya
Prasad
and
Keeravani
have
penned
one
song
each
in
the
album.
The
songs
of
the
film
have
won
the
heart
of
movie
buffs,
who
are
eagerly
waiting
to
see
the
film
on
screen.
Eega
went
on
floors
in
2010
and
it
was
initially
planned
to
be
released
in
April
2012.
But
the
makers
of
the
film
kept
on
postponing
its
release
due
to
delay
in
its
extensive
CGI
and
VFX
work.
The
film,
which
is
produced
by
D
Suresh
Babu
under
Suresh
Productions
banner,
has
been
made
with
a
whopping
budget
of
Rs
35
crore.
However,
the
movie
Eega
has
90
minutes
of
visual
effects
and
realistic
animation
and
major
share
of
its
budget
has
been
spent
on
the
special
effects.
It
is
slated
to
release
on
July
6.
The
movie,
which
has
the
brand
name
of
SS
Rajamouli,
is
expected
to
set
a
new
record
at
the
Tollywood
Box
Office.
