Karunakaran's
latest
Telugu

Endukante
Premanta
starring
Ram
and
Tamanna,
has
received

the

Lead
actors'
performances
are
the
major
highlights
of
the
film.
But
the
critics
have
given
thumbs
down
to
Karunakaran's
slow
narrative
style.

Review:
After
Kandareega,
Ram
had
established
himself
as
an
energetic
hero
and
with
lots
of
promise
Endukante
Premanta
was
developed.
But
with
slow
narrative
style
and
boring
moments,
this
film
may
not
match
up
to
his
earlier
hit.
If
only
the
youngsters
enjoy
the
slow
pace
then
it
is
sure
to
be
another
hit
for
Ram
and
Karunakaran.

Review:
Endukante
Premanta
is
more
like
the
dream
Tamanna
has
in
the
film
a
sweet
fantasy.
There's
nothing
to
look
forward
to
in
the
film
barring
the
performance
of
Ram
and
Tamanna.

Review:
The
biggest
stumbling
blocks
are
the
no-existent-romance
and
the
below
par
music.
The
filmmaker
tried
to
pack
in
a
little
too
much
into
the
narrative,
which
unfolds
in
a
thrill-a-minute-fashion.
That
proves
to
be
its
undoing
and
ends
up
looking
a
little
too
tacky,
the
breathtaking
visuals
not
withstanding.
Overall,
a
very
underwhelming
experience
that
only
comes
off
in
bits
and
pieces.

Review:
Except
for
Andrew's
awe-inspiring
cinematography
that
captures
Paris
and
its
scenic
surroundings
in
their
resplendent
hues,
nothing
impresses
in
Endukante.
It
drags
while
telling
a
mundane,
mushy
tale
peppered
with
action
and
comedy.
If
only
Endukante
was
as
energetic
as
it
bills
and
markets
its
leading
star
to
be!

Review:
Whatever
we
had
thought
about
Endukante
Premanta
is
turned
upside
down
when
we
watch
a
romance-fiction
unfold
in
front
of
our
eyes.
Karunakaran
dares
to
be
out-of-the-box
this
time,
and
his
film
borders
on
the
surreal.
He
neither
falls
into
the
trap
of
Tamil-style
story-telling
nor
makes
it
seem
dreamlike;
this
is
its
qualification
as
well
as
disqualification.
The
surreal
but
beautiful
world
of
Tamanna
and
Ram
is
juxtaposed
with
a
universe
of
comedy
scenes
and
tinsel
songs;
this
is
the
film's
biggest
strength
but
also
its
greatest
undoing.
The
interval
twist
jolts
you
and
brings
the
first
10
minutes
of
the
film
to
your
mind.

Good
Movies:
Endukante
Premanta
lacks
the
soul
and
feel
that
are
much
needed
for
this
type
of
films.
Except
for
few
funny
sequences,
the
film
offers
nothing
to
any
section
of
audience.
The
concept
too
isn't
universally
acceptable.
